Setting up the framework for the main Talisman structure in Napier 2013 with collaborator Roger Kelly. This is a test run for the piece, which will only be complete once installed with The Talisman Project in it's entirety, opening at Objectspace, Auckland Friday May 2nd 2014.

Curved joints are bolted together in graduated size ranges and spaced with a cardboard tube.
The spiral grows outwards from the centre
Once the structure is complete, tube made from old tyres and recycled rubber is fed through holes in the joints for the entire length of the work. There will be about three times as many tube lengths once complete and curved tops secured on each section of boardwalk.
