Workshop 6 (where I've been based since 2008) is a collective jewellery studio founded in 1993 in Kingsland, Auckland, by some of the first graduates from the recently established craft design courses being offered by the Polytechnics. Since then it's been home to many of New Zealand's leading contemporary jewellers, this exhibition marks another milestone and acknowledges the close relationship between Fingers and Workshop 6 with past and present partners and associated jewellers represented.
